Hi, I'm Sidhi

A first-generation Aussie, deeply connected to my childhood memories of Indian craftsmanship. My journey in fashion began with my earliest inspiration: my mother, a passionate dressmaker. Growing up, I was surrounded by the hum of her sewing machine and the beauty of fabrics she transformed into timeless pieces.

As I became a fashion professional, the use of polyester and the sight of textile waste effected me.

When I moved to Australia in 2019, I craved the soft, breathable cotton I grew up with. Turns out, Indian cotton and Australian weather are a match made in heaven—moisture-absorbing, breathable, and great for layering.

I wanted it in its truest form, keeping it elegant and simple. I, also wanted it to create an impact—not just for the women wearing it but also for the artisans crafting it.

Every hi Handmade piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans who are paid fairly, ensuring we celebrate traditional craftsmanship. But most importantly, they’re designed for real women, real bodies, and real moments—whether you’re chasing dreams, little ones, or just a moment of comfort in a busy day.

We use azo-free dyes because they are chemical-free, natural, and ensure the safety of our artisans. Unlike conventional dyes, azo-free options prevent the release of toxic substances, safeguarding both our workers and the planet.

Upcycled

Breathing new life into textile scraps is one of our priorities, as we’re dedicated to ensuring nothing goes to waste. By transforming these materials into practical items like bags, journals, and hair ties, we uphold our commitment to quality, and environmental responsibility.

Plastic-free packaging

By using recycled paper tags, acid-free tissue paper, and 100% compostable packaging, we ensure our operations leave a minimal environmental footprint.
