Hi, I am Sidhi

I am a first-generation immigrant, blending my childhood memories of Indian, artisanal craftsmanship with free-spirited Australian lifestyle. HiHandmade offers sustainable fashion that fits your life.

My Story

As a child, I grew up in a vibrant atmosphere, surrounded by rich culture, heritage, forts and bustling markets.

At home, my mother is a passionate dress-maker and throughout my childhood I was surrounded with textiles and colourful fabric swatches.

Professionally, I have been in the fashion industry all my life. After graduating from a fashion school, I worked with multinational brands for 15 years and got to know about the waste created by textile industry.

I wanted to be a part of the solution and offer my skill and knowledge to bring a sustainable change. Hence, hihandmade was born to celebrate fashion that cares both about the people and planet

Our Product

We proudly use 100% Indian cotton, a material that is not only renowned for its breathability and durability but also deeply rooted in cultural heritage and plays a major role in sustaining livelihood of over 40 million people. From fibre to finished product, we use natural materials and plastic-free packaging.

Our People

For over three centuries, our artisans have woven their magic into every thread, meticulously printing lengths of cotton fabric using hand-carved blocks. This ancient craft has been passed down through generations, each artisan inheriting the skills and secrets of their forebears.
